Built in the 1870s, the residence demonstrates some Victorian Style. The original footprint of the house has largely remained the same since the 1920’s when verandahs and servants accomodation were added on. Since this time the house has been renovated with an unsympathetic casual living and kitchen area.
This renovation has removed the unsympathetic works that were completed in the 1980’s and includes restoring cathedral timber ceiling details that were previously removed. The front of the house has remained in its original form that consists of formal living area, music room, study and a billiard room and the rear of the house to be renovated with a new kitchen and a more relaxed living and dining area.
There has been a great deal of consideration placed on bringing this homestead up to modern day living standards. All internal electrical conduits have been hidden with the addition of ducted air conditioning to all spaces.
Tablelands Builders has worked closely with the owner to complete this project to the highest of standards.
